Due to Covid restrictions our restaurant is sadly closed, however we are offering a Dine at Home service so you can enjoy our chefs menu in the comfort of your own home each Friday and Saturday.

STARTERS

Crispy confit duck leg, butter bean & green lentil stew, Cassis soaked raisins.

 

Smoked salmon mousse, horseradish créme fraiche, citrus dressing & Melba toast.

 

Field mushrooms with Hartington stilton, sour dough & herb crumble, crispy smoked bacon.

Main CoUrseS

Eight hour cooked pork belly, black pudding, sausage & Savoy cabbage terrine, dry cider jus, crab apple jelly, buttered mash.

 

Braised shin of beef with bone marrow, Lyonnaise onions & red wine, fondant potato.

 

Shepherds pie (made with lamb & beef) leek mash & vintage cheddar cheese.

 

All served with a selection of seasonal vegetables

We try wherever we can to source all our produce locally.
Our meats are supplied by Owen Taylors from Leabrooks, Derbyshire, our fish is supplied by RG Morris from Buxton & our vegetables from Chesterfield Market

Food Allergy Information

We use nuts, fish, eggs, shellfish, milk, and gluten products within our kitchen, and it is impossible to fully guarantee separation of these items in storage, preparation, or cooking. Many ingredients such as onions, garlic, peppers, seasonings, and alcohol are an integral part of our basic preparations and it is not possible to isolate them entirely from dishes. Where guests are intolerant of these basic ingredients, we can where possible offer an alternative.
